This is a vase that is 3 1/2" x 5". It has a smooth texture. It is glazed with a white base with cobalt blue dripped over it. The inside of the piece is also cobalt blue and the dripping down the sides gives the glaze movement. On this tall project, I learned how to better control the clay whilst pulling up the walls, resulting in an overall even thickness.

This is a bowl that is 5" x 2 1/2". It has a smooth texture. It is glazed turquoise blue. The solid turquoise glaze gives the piece unity. I used skills I already had to make this bowl and did not learn anything new. However, although you can't see it from the picture, my footing skills have improved and this was my best foot as of yet.
